I was born in Denver, Colorado in 1978 and studied at the San Francisco Art Institute where I received my BFA in August of 2002. I am currently an MFA candidate at UCSB.
My work moves between painting, drawing and collage, exploring the limits of materials and their point of collapse. I believe in creating work that embodies an ambiguous, transgressive energy that ultimately creates its own intelligence. My practice is hinged on experimentation, risk-taking, and rebellious freedom.
