Born in Denver, Colorado in 1978 and raised by an accountant and an artist. I studied at the San Francisco Art Institute where I received my BFA in 2003 in Interdisciplinary Studies.
I make both 2-D and sculptural mixed-media work. I often use a lot of collage, acrylic and watercolor. For me, each artistic endeavor is a test in braiding together concept, intuition and material.
My interests have always pointed towards psychology, the body, gender roles and what we perceive as "natural". For the past few years my work has been involved in the basic but ever-challenging pursuit of trying to combine the body together with "nature".
